Join UMass Lowell Professor Bob Forrant for a free downtown walking tour highlighting the abolition history of Lowell. This 90 minute program begins at 10 a.m. at the Visitor Center.

Professor Forrant will lead this walk back in time to explore Lowell’s anti-slavery history. Explore the many fascinating stories of men and women from Lowell who worked valiently to end slavery in the United States. Uncover stops on the Underground Railroad and churches where abolistionist preachers spoke.

Free parking is available at 304 Dutton Street.
