Join Kid Kindness
as we learn all about Teaching Kids to Grow. Janet Rivers from the Wakefield Co-operative Bank
will teach Kid Kindness families about cultivating and maintaining vegetable and herb gardens, and about how we can help with the Teaching Kids to Grow gardens this summer. Kids will also have the opportunity to plant their own gardens to take home – whose products they are encouraged to donate independently to the Food Pantry as part of their ‘Plant a Row’ Program.
Kid Kindness families will also have the opportunity to ‘adopt a day’ at the Galvin School site, and volunteer to water and weed on their given day each week throughout the month of August.
