What would it look like to live in a world free from oppression? Is a world without colonialism and imperialism possible? Well…YES! As a matter of fact, it is not only possible but it has already existed. The first peoples of this land lived free until occupiers colonized their world. Resistance to colonialism has been the response that many native people around the world have to engage in to survive and protect their way of life. Inspired by what Wakanda represents and by Native people around the world, we are holding Celebrating Change embracing a spirit of anti-colonization. As such we want to honor those among us who are showing the path of liberation in the day to day work to support youth leadership in our communities.

We ask that you embrace the same spirit and offer your support to make this event a success. Thank you for all your support to create youth leadership, for justice, across difference!
