University of Massachusetts Boston — McCormack School of Policy Studies and Global Studies, WBUR 90.9 FM, and The Boston Globe, will host live debates with the Democratic candidates running for governor this year.
Radio Boston's host, Meghna Chakrabarti, will be joined by co-moderator Shira T. Center, political editor from The Boston Globe. The conversations will be conducted before a live audience at UMass Boston, and live-streamed on bostonglobe.com, wbur.org, and umb.edu.
The debate is intended as a kick-off to the campaign season, introducing the leading Democratic candidates for governor.

Because the conversations are taking place as part of WBUR’s Radio Boston program, from 3 to 4 p.m., the live audience must be in their seats in the Campus Center at UMass Boston Ballrooms B and C, by 2:45 p.m. The doors open at 2:15 and close at 2:45p.m. The conversations are free and open to the public, but registration will be required.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
We encourage all visitors to use public transportation, as parking capacity on campus will be very limited. Drivers should allow additional time for driving, parking, and walking due to possible delays caused by construction. Drivers are encouraged to park at the UMass Boston Bayside Lot, located at 200 Mt. Vernon Street in Boston, and take a free shuttle to the Clark Athletic Center or the Campus Center.
Parking fees: $6 per single use.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes. Your ticket, mobile or printed is needed to gain access to the event.
