Please join us for «A Night of Hope» on Thursday, January 25th from 6 — 8 p.m. at RAW. Free and open to all.
RAW and The NAN Project will be hosting a film screening and panel discussion around the topic of mental health, followed by a mental health fair.
This year RAW has been collaborating with The NAN Project on a project called «There is HELP & There is HOPE: Mental Health Awareness through Art».
Our goal has been to break down the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide in order to raise the conversation above a whisper. As part of this, a group of students from RAW were trained in how to respond to a peer or loved one in crisis, and have used the power of art and storytelling to engage in advocacy and awareness. They are now working to promote access to mental health support in the Lynn community.
