Sarah Eide — facebook.com/SarahEideMusic
Sarah Eide is a lot of things – an award winning composer of film and game music, a classically trained pianist, and a performing singer-songwriter. As a graduate of Boston’s Berklee College of Music, it’s no surprise that her talent has taken her further than most independent artists – allowing her to pave a non-traditional path and lifestyle of full-time artistry.
In an industry that can often feel oversaturated with stale soundscapes, lifeless lyrics, and predictable patterns, Sarah Eide’s music cuts through the clutter. Drawing comparisons to iconic contemporary pianist such as Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, and Ben Folds, Eide’s music is equally thoughtful, quirky, intentional, and honest. It’s a sound she describes as cinematic folk rock with nuances of jazz and pop.
Louis Apollon — facebook.com/louisapollonmusic/
Singer-Songwriter Louis Apollon was born and raised in the suburbs of New York City by parents of Haitian decent. Music had always been something that sparked curiosity for him. From learning his way around his first instrument, the clarinet, to trying to imitate sounds coming from the radio, to breaking his father’s old record player trying to scratch old records. It was not uncommon to hear sounds from around the world on a daily basis, and those sounds influenced the music he makes today.
His professional career started in Chicago, IL where he worked in the advertising world after he received a Business Degree from University of Notre Dame. Though he remained in that business for four years he realized that he was constantly searching for and finding opportunities to perform musically on the side. Once coming to this realization, he decided that he really wanted to commit himself to music full time, so he put himself in position to do so by attending the Jazz Studies Program at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, OH.
He is primarily a vocalist and accompanies himself on guitar and is known to do solo, duo, and full band performances. Being heavily influenced by Jazz, Pop, World music, and acoustic styles, he brings a fresh perspective in how we listen to and feel music, and is always looking to use his work to positively impact the world and its listeners. Upon attending and being a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music (2015), he released his first album, Free to Be, in September of 2017 and is looking forward to releasing his original works and creating even more for this ever-changing world.
