Cambodian Mutual Assistant Association (CMAA) of Lowell, Inc. is excited to organize and host a monumental community event: a film screening of the well renowned book turned movie “First They Killed My Father” (FTKMF) which entails a real-life account of surviving the Khmer Rouge, written and directed by Luong Ung and Angelina Jolie. The film screening will take place on December 9, 2017 at the Lowell High School Auditorium from 2:00-5:30 PM EST. Following the event, a celebration will be hosted at Pailin City Restaurant to bring together our community and the event organizers. The celebration will include a Cambodian traditional four course meal and live band. Due to limited seating, we advise advance ticket purchase through EventBrite for guaranteed seating.
