The Children's Department presents «A Christmas Carol,» performed by the Hampstead Stage Company.

Charles Dickens' «A Christmas Carol» is a story that is both timeless and universal. It is the delightful tale of the miser, Ebenezer Scrooge, and his clerk, Bob Cratchit. Through visits from the spirits of the season, Scrooge learns the true meaning of Christmas. In this charming tale, the Hampstead Stage Company will educate children about the class system of Victorian England and encourage them to help others that are less fortunate.

The Hampstead Stage Company performs interactive tours with professional actors, each playing multiple roles. Their scripts are original adaptations based directly on literary classics and include children and adults from the audience. The play will last one hour with a Q&A session to follow the performance.

This program is best for children ages 5+.

This program is free and wheelchair accessible.
