Téada (meaning «strings» in Irish) revels in the vibrant traditional music of Ireland. The band blends the raw individuality of solo artists with the contagious energy of a modern ensemble. An Irish band with a truly worldwide reach, Téada has appeared as a headliner at major music festivals throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Africa, Russia, the Middle East and Australia.
"[With] a fierce familiarity with the old ways, Téada represents the strings that bind...a young band with a deeply authentic sound, while moving towards the cutting edge of the next generation of traditional practitioners." — Irish Music Magazine
