Everyone is welcome to join us at the Temple Emunah Playground on Wednesday, September 6, 10:30—Noon, for a special PRIDE Picnic & Playground event! Bring your own picnic lunch and we will provide snacks, treats, and drinks. We will also have crafts, face-painting, and story time! In case of rain, this event will be held indoors.
This program is co-sponsored by The Temple Emunah KERUV Committee and by KESHET Boston. The KERUV Committee at Temple Emunah endeavors to enhance our practices as a community that welcomes all Jewish people — and their partners, whether Jewish or not — without regard to marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, national origin, or disability. KESHET is a national organization that works for full LGBTQ equality and inclusion in Jewish life. A representative from KESHET will be at this event with resources for families on LGBTQ issues in the Jewish community of Boston.
This program is made possible through a grant from PJ Library, a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, and PJ Library Alliance partners.
