Please note: Menashe is on Rush. Line will begin to form 1 hour prior to screening.
Shot entirely in Yiddish and set within the New York Hasidic community, Menashe follows a kind grocery-store clerk named Menashe who is trying to maintain custody of his son, Rieven, after his wife passes away. As this tradition-bound culture requires a mother to be present in every home, Rieven is supposed to be adopted by the boy's strict uncle, but Menashe's rabbi grants him one week to spend with his son prior to his wife's memorial.
