Ethan Frawley has been a fixture in Boston's restaurant industry for almost 20 years. A scrappy bartender who like many of us worked his way up the industry, starting as a busboy at No. 9 Park in 1999. A lover of punk rock, friendships were quickly formed over beers and shots late night at Silvertone.
Fast forward to today, when Ethan was recently diagnosed with stage four stomach cancer at only 41 years old. He's facing a fight for his life, and this evening is our collective attempt to help offset some of his growing medical bills.
Please join us in raising a glass to Ethan on Sunday, August 13th. From 5pm — 7pm, a collection of award-winning restaurant friends are coming together to create delicious bites, while bartending veterans Tom Mastricola and Josh Childs shake drinks for one more night. From 7pm — 9pm, join us at the bar for beer curated by the team at The Publick House. Participating restaurants are listed below.
The night will also feature what is probably going to be the most epic raffle of all time, as well as a silent auction. Please help us help Ethan and his family. If you're unable to make it, please visit Ethan's GoFundMe page here: gofundme.com/6ab2nh.
See you on August 13th!
