One of the four «foundations of mindfulness,» vedana is usually translated as «feeling-tone» It refers to the pleasant, unpleasant and neutral sensations we experience. In this meditation, we'll be mindful of these feeling tones. For more information on vedana, see

contemplativemind.wordpress.com/2013/12/03/vedana-affective-feeling-tone-or-simply-sensation/

We provide cushions and chairs. There is no charge.

No previous experience with meditation is necessary. RSVP's are appreciated but not required.

Our meditations have been collected into a book published by New World Library: Secular Meditation: Practices for Cultivating Inner Peace, Compassion, and Joy.
