Purple Light Night Walk is the kickoff to updating information of all unsolved murders throughout the «City of Boston» no matter how mature the case is! Each family will be assigned a homicide detective and resources. There are thousands of families living with the unsolved murder of a loved one. Each family deserves respect and justice and assurance that all information regarding their loved ones case is accurate.
Join Activists, Advocates, Families, Boston Police Homicide Detectives, Elective Officials, District Attorney's, and others as they bring attention to this matter by walking in unity without shaming and blaming.
Meet at the Franklin Park Zoo entrance at 6:30 pm. We will begin walking at 7:00 pm sharp to Mattapan Police Station District B-3, There the Unsolved Homicide Awareness Flag will be raised by Captain Haseeb Hosien. Please stop by «The Purple Table» to update information, connect with other families, and enjoy free barbecue and drinks.
*Wear something purple, bring a photo of loved one, and purple lights will be provided*
