THIS TUESDAY, we bring you 2019: AFTER THE FALL OF NEW YORK — arguably the best Italian Escape From New York knockoff, and from the director that brought you prior Trash Night classic HANDS OF STEEL ***and*** the DP of TROLL 2.
It is hard for me to improve upon Google's auto-synopsis — «The good losers of World War III send a hero (Michael Sopkiw) and his sidekicks to find the last fertile woman (Anna Kanakis) on Earth.» — except that there are mutant apes, eye-gougings, and an ASTONISHING number of working motor vehicles given the apocalypse scenario.
DEMOLITION DERBIES INVOLVING ROCKET LAUNCHERS AND ENORMOUS SAWBLADES: 1
UNEXPLAINED MOTORCYCLE JOURNEYS FROM ALASKA TO NEW YORK: 1

YOU ARE A FOOL IF YOU MISS THIS. SORRY FOR BEING HARSH BUT I'M JUST LOOKING OUT FOR YOUR BEST INTERESTS.
TRASH NIGHT is a monthly film series dedicated to unpopular, non-cult, bargain-bin films and gleeful VHS bricolage. We screen monthly, on EVERY THIRD TUESDAY, at the Brattle Theatre in scenic Harvard Square, in Cambridge, MA. Doors are at 7PM and the film starts at 7:30; admission is a mere $7 and includes with price of purchase a BESPOKE COMMEMORATIVE 1" BADGE, unique to the film being screened. Refreshments and beverages (including beer and wine) are available in the Brattle lobby up through the first hour of the show.
